Find Freedom, Reclaim Purpose, and Heal with Compassion
Faith-Based Addiction Counselling
If you or a loved one is caught in the cycle of addiction, you’re not alone — and you’re not beyond hope. Our faith-based addiction counselling services in South Africa offer a path to healing grounded in grace, truth, and professional support.
I’m Pastor Tiyani Mongwe, a registered counselling psychologist and retired SDA pastor with over 45 years in ministry. I understand the deep emotional and spiritual roots of addiction, and I’m here to walk this journey with you, prayerfully and practically.
Addiction counselling is a structured, therapeutic process designed to help individuals:
-
Understand the root causes of their addictive behaviours
-
Replace harmful habits with healthy, Christ-centred practices
-
Heal emotional wounds and broken relationships
-
Restore personal identity and self-worth
-
Build a long-term strategy for recovery and relapse prevention
Galatians 5:1 declares: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free.” That freedom is still available to you — no matter your past.
Our programme integrates clinical therapy, spiritual formation, and biblical accountability.

A Christ-Centred Approach to Recovery
We believe that true healing is found in Christ. Our approach combines the wisdom of psychology with the power of Scripture. Through Spirit-led therapy sessions, we address not only the symptoms of addiction but also the spiritual strongholds behind them. Clients are guided through prayer, forgiveness work, and biblical meditations to renew the mind and soften the heart.
Addiction thrives in isolation, secrecy, and shame. But Jesus offers truth, light, and redemption. Our counselling is centred on the belief that recovery is not just physical or emotional — it’s spiritual. Through prayer, Scripture, and Spirit-led conversations, you’ll experience God’s healing grace.
We use therapeutic tools rooted in evidence-based approaches and Scripture to renew the mind and restore the soul (Romans 12:2).
